Interior Designer Manager (FF&E Focus)
Location: Reno, Nevada
Salary Range: $85,000-$95,000

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Manager to lead the firm's FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) efforts across multiple project types. This role is ideal for a highly organized, design-oriented professional who excels in both creative direction and technical execution.
The Interior Designer Manager will oversee FF&E strategy from concept through installation, collaborate closely with architects and clients, and ensure design intent is maintained across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Lead and manage FF&E design, specification, procurement, and installation across multiple projects
- Develop cohesive interior design concepts aligned with architectural vision and client goals
- Produce and review finish palettes, material boards, and FF&E packages
- Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and product sourcing
- Coordinate FF&E budgets, schedules, and procurement timelines
- Oversee documentation and integration of interior design packages into Revit-based project workflows
- Collaborate with project architects, consultants, and clients throughout all project phases
- Conduct site visits and support installation to ensure quality and design consistency
This role will contribute to interior design across a wide range of project sectors, including:
- Civic Municipal Facilities
- Educational (K-12 and Higher Education)
- Healthcare Wellness Environments
- Commercial Office Spaces
- Community and Public Use Spaces
- Minimum 10 years of professional interior design experience, with leadership responsibilities
- Proven experience managing FF&E programs from concept through installation
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required)
- NCIDQ certification preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated experience working across multiple project types (civic, education, healthcare, or commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of materials, specifications, building codes, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a collaborative team environment
