Building Enclosure Project Manager
A leading provider of testing, inspection, and consulting services within the built environment is seeking a Building Enclosure Project Manager to join their growing Building Science team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of new construction and existing building projects, with clear progression into technical leadership and client development.
You will play a key role in delivering building enclosure consulting services across a range of project types. This position combines project management, technical delivery, and client-facing responsibilities.
- Support design consulting and peer reviews of building enclosure systems
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals
- Perform field testing, including water penetration and enclosure performance testing
- Provide construction administration support, including site visits and inspections
- Conduct forensic investigations and document existing building conditions
- Assist with remediation design for enclosure systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects
- Prepare clear, professional technical reports
- Develop sketches and markups using Bluebeam or similar tools
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with 1 year of experience in building enclosure consulting,
or5 years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
Strong understanding of building enclosure systems and construction practices
Experience managing projects from small to large scale
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Comfortable working in both office and field settings, including at height
Ability to travel up to 25% as required
Valid driver's license
- Professional licensure (PE, RA, or equivalent)
- Experience across a variety of building types
- Familiarity with façade investigations and leak diagnostics
- Knowledge of ASTM testing for air and water infiltration
- Safety certifications (e.g., scaffold training)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
