• Perform system start‑ups in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements
• Analyze and optimize building automation and HVAC system performance
• Commission HVAC and DDC control systems, including controllers, sensors, and networked devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, equipment, and components
• Build, wire, and test control panels as required
• Maintain accurate project documentation, drawings, and detailed field notes
• Provide technical and engineering support for active projects
• Train customers and internal team members on control system operation
• Assist the Service Department with advanced troubleshooting calls as needed
  
  

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Solid understanding of DDC control theory and applications
• Hands‑on experience with commercial HVAC systems
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, electronics, and control wiring
• Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and basic programming
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional communication and strong customer‑facing skills
  
  

• 2 years of hands‑on field experience in HVAC controls or building automation
• Technical degree preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of HVAC and/or mechanical systems
• Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are welcome
