The client roster is comprised of 90 labor unions and multi-employer organizations – working directly with clients on the cutting edge of ERISA law is foundational to this role. Core Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience advising clients on Titles I, II and IV of ERISA, possess a working knowledge of the Taft-Hartley Act, and bring experience working with labor unions. Strong writing and organizational skills are paramount to excel in this role, however the most important skill to thrive with the firm is communication. Candidates must be curious and vocal communicators with the ability to collaborate with peers and managers.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on Title I, II, and IV of ERISA
- Manage and mitigate Taft Hartley Act regulations to avoid litigation
- Advise multi-employer organizations on investments, contracting, health care management or tax qualification
- Vigilantly track and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Barred in MD, DC, or VA
- 3 years of experience of multi-employer ERISA compliance
- Smart & sharp professional who can operate autonomously
- Good communicator with the ability to collaborate on work product
- Ambitious legal professional with desire to grow their career
Compensation & Benefits:
