Social Worker – Refugee Foster Care (Fairfax, VA)

What You’ll Do

• Be the steady hand guiding children and teens through foster care, helping them heal and grow.

• Partner with foster families, schools, and community providers to ensure each child feels supported.

• Write service plans and court reports that protect their rights and safeguard their futures.

• Use your Spanish language skills to build trust and understanding with families and youth.

Who You Are

• You hold a degree in Social Work (or related field) and bring at least 2 years of experience working with children.

• You understand the impact of trauma and believe in every child’s ability to thrive.

• You are compassionate, resourceful, and ready to advocate fiercely for youth.
