Senior BI Architect

We're looking for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Architect to join a growing enterprise organization focused on modernizing its analytics and reporting ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, architecture, and ongoing evolution of an enterprise Business Intelligence platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing reporting solutions across the organization
• Design dimensional data models and semantic layers that support enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics using industry best practices for data warehousing
• Build and optimize Power BI semantic models, DAX calculations, security models, and reporting performance while leveraging Microsoft Fabric capabilities
• Establish governance standards for BI development, including modeling conventions, report design standards, reusable datasets, security practices, and performance optimization
• Manage BI platform administration across development, testing, and production environments, including capacity planning, gateway management, deployments, and platform monitoring
• Partner with Data Engineering and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support enterprise decision making
• Develop long-term BI platform strategy by evaluating emerging technologies, improving architecture, and recommending enhancements that align with organizational goals
• Create deployment strategies, release management processes, validation plans, rollback procedures, and documentation to support reliable production releases
• Monitor platform adoption, usage metrics, security compliance, and audit readiness while promoting best practices around data governance and self-service analytics
• Provide technical leadership, mentor BI developers, review technical designs and code, and guide distributed development resources to ensure consistent delivery standards

What We’re Looking For

• 6 - 10 years of experience designing enterprise data warehouse solutions using dimensional modeling methodologies
• 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions, including semantic models, advanced DAX development, and report optimization
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Direct Lake, and modern analytics architecture
• Experience implementing Row Level Security (RLS), semantic models, reusable datasets, and enterprise reporting standards
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Experience supporting enterprise ETL or modern data integration pipelines within cloud or hybrid data environments
