Lumark has an exciting job opportunity for a Configuration Manager to join our team in support of the U.S. Military onsite in Knoxville, TN – this is an IMMEDIATE OPENING on an ACTIVE CONTRACT.
Duties
- Responsible for Configuration Management (CM) processes, compliance, and execution.
- Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits.
- Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, models, and other technical documentation.
- Responsible for Configuration Change Control.
- Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents, related models, and software configurations.
- Responsible for Configuration Status Accounting.
- Tracks all problems and changes in product documents, model implementations, and software.
- Reports changes and current configuration.
- Responsible for Configuration Audits.
- Supports audits to verify that requirements traceability of all baselines has been met. Supports software quality assurance process audits.
- Maintains configuration tracking tools to document deliverables including targets established by the customer.
- Monitors compliance with contract and schedules and briefing management on a regular basis.
- Reviews project deliverables (agendas, minutes, reports, task orders, products, guidelines, policies, procedures, etc.) to ensure quality, versioning, and compliance with agreed on terms, and update Program Manager accordingly.
- Works with stakeholders to assist with timely completion of the project/contract deliverables. This may include but not limited to regular follow-up with the stakeholders and offering relevant support and assistance as needed.
- Prepares monthly status reports in consultation with the Program Manager.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Program/Project Manager.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- Currently hold or have recently held at minimum a DoD SECRET Clearance. An active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Must currently reside in or near Knoxville, TN and be able to commute to the work location.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing the CM functions on DoD or Commercial programs/projects.
- Thorough knowledge of CM concepts and techniques.
- Ability to automate the CM process with appropriate tools (both in-house and commercial tools). Ensuring system availability, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Experience implementing automation for deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience contributing to all activities and steps that form the Agile/Scrum lifecycle, with an emphasis on implementation, and closing delivery of iterative releases and CDRLs.
