Role description
Job Title: Senior Specialist - Business Analysis
Role Purpose:
- The Reinsurance Business Analyst Operations will be responsible for supporting BAU and change activities across reinsurance platforms by working closely with business stakeholder’s operations teams and
- The IT role focuses on reinsurance operations process analysis requirements management and functional support for treaty and facultative reinsurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Reinsurance Operations BAU (Business as Usual):
- Support day-to-day reinsurance operations across treaty and facultative lines Proportional Non-Proportional
- Act as a functional SME for ceded reinsurance processes including contract setup cessions billing technical accounting and claims
- Business Analysis Requirements:
- Gather analyze and document business requirements for enhancements regulatory changes and operational efficiencies
- Prepare BRD FRD process flows and data mapping documents
- Stakeholder Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with client ops teams IT QA and vendors e.g., core reinsurance system providers
- Participate in workshops walkthroughs and solution discussions to validate requirements
- Support UAT by clarifying functional scenarios and resolving defects
- Testing Validation
- Create and review test scenarios and test cases aligned with reinsurance business workflows
- Support SITUAT execution defect triage and sign off activities
- Documentation Knowledge Management
- Maintain operational runbooks SOPs functional specs and knowledge base
- Ensure smooth knowledge transition between onsite offshore teams.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
