Job Summary

Seeking a Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in Mainframe Enterprise Cobol and DB2 to develop and support enterprise mainframe applications

Job Description

Develop maintain and optimize mainframe applications using Enterprise Cobol and DB2 within the MAINFRAMECOBOLJCLDB2 skill cluster Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of mainframe solutions Analyze and troubleshoot mainframe issues to improve system performance and reliability Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards Apply best practices in mainframe development and operations to enhance efficiency Support continuous improvement of mainframe processes and workflows

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and implement robust Cobol programs and JCL scripts aligned with business requirements Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements Coordinate with DB2 database administrators for effective data management and performance tuning Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments for system changes Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues promptly Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to build technical capabilities within the team

Benefits
Compensation range: $83,912.00 to $128,080.00 per year
