What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive position at LSI?
We are looking for a motivated, coachable, high-velocity Account Executive to help us bring the Compass AI platform to the medtech and healthcare innovation ecosystem. This role is fully in-office in Huntington Beach and ideal for someone excited to join a fast-moving team building category-defining market research and data products.
This is a rare opportunity to sell a platform with a world-class brand behind it, proprietary data no competitor has, and an executive customer base across healthcare innovation. You will work directly with leadership, product, engineering, and marketing to shape sales strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and close mission-critical deals.Uncapped commissions mean the upside is significant. The more you put in, the more you get out.
What You’ll Do
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for the Compass platform
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of medtech startups, investor, and strategic accounts
• Educate prospects on AI Agents, proprietary datasets, and use cases within Compass
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer needs into roadmap improvements
• Work with marketing to refine messaging, demos, and outbound strategy
• Become a domain expert in medtech/healthcare innovation and private-market intelligence
• Drive expansion and retention through thoughtful relationship management
• Ensure handoffs and renewals positioning are strong and proactive⸻

Professional Experience
• 2–5 years in a high-velocity sales role (SaaS, enterprise software, or data/analytics preferred)
