Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee residential construction and remodeling projects across Wisconsin. This role will manage projects ranging from new modular homes and tiny homes to kitchen, bathroom, basement finishes, and additions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and excels at managing timelines, budgets, and communication. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-construction walkthroughs and project hand-off meetings to clarify scope and expectations
- Collaborate closely with architects, designers, builders, and subcontractors
- Manage permitting and inspection scheduling to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop accurate project schedules and allocate resources for materials and labor
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring accountability and performance
- Maintain constant communication with customers via meetings, calls, and project management software
- Track budgets, approve change orders, and ensure timely collection of payments
- Oversee daily site visits to monitor progress, quality, and site protection
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet profitability goals
- Uphold company core values including transparency, integrity, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide weekly project updates to senior management
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and customer service skills with a focus on building trust and rapport
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications
- Solid knowledge of construction tools, materials, and building practices
- High proficiency with technology, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and project management software (BuilderTrend preferred)
- Ability to respond promptly to emails, calls, and texts, including nights and weekends
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors
- Ability to work on uneven terrain and perform basic building tasks to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong accountability
Education & Experience
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing residential construction projects, including custom homes, modular homes, or remodeling
- Demonstrated efficiency with digital tools such as Gmail, G-Suite, Excel, Word, and BuilderTrend
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of driving and frequent site visits requiring standing, walking on rough terrain, climbing ladders and stairs
- Ability to crouch, kneel, or crawl as needed on construction sites
- Extended periods working at a desk and using a computer

Work Schedule & Location
