Full Desk Recruiter (Direct Hire) | Charlotte, NC
Loop Recruiting is a direct hire recruiting firm placing talent across IT, finance, HR, and operations. We’re looking for a seasoned full desk recruiter to own the entire search lifecycle, from winning new client business to closing the offer, in the Charlotte market.
About the Role
This is a true full desk seat. You’ll build and manage your own client portfolio, run searches end to end, and be accountable for revenue. We want someone who already knows the Charlotte business community, has a book of relationships, and is comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new client relationships through outbound business development, referrals, and networking in the Charlotte market
- Take detailed job orders and consult with hiring managers on market conditions, compensation, and search strategy
- Source, screen, and recruit passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
- Manage candidates through interviews, feedback, offer negotiation, and close
- Negotiate fee agreements and terms with clients
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in our ATS/CRM
- Stay current on Charlotte hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and industry developments (banking/fintech, healthcare, energy, and professional services, among others)
What You Bring
- 10 years of direct hire or retained search experience in a full desk (360) capacity
- A proven track record of billings and consistent placements, with metrics you can speak to
- Established relationships with employers and/or candidates in the Charlotte area
- Experience recruiting in one or more of: IT, finance/accounting, HR, or operations
- Strong business development skills, including comfort with cold outreach and winning new accounts
- Excellent negotiation, consultative selling, and communication skills
- Proficiency with an ATS/CRM and LinkedIn Recruiter
- A self-starter mindset, with the discipline to manage your own pipeline and hit goals
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
