Job description
· Our client is a leading credit fund with over $90B AUM. They seek to hire an Investment Associate focused on private credit and special situations investing.
Responsibilities
· Participate directly in investment process through direct exposure to senior leadership
· Evaluating potential transactions through detailed research and analysis
· Conducting due diligence and assisting in the entire process from deal origination to management
· Preparing Investment Committee materials
· Performing industry sector deep dives in conjunction with industry specialist teams
· Lead & support robust corporate models and stress testing
· Work with cross functional teams (investment teams, capital markets, finance, risk) to support day-to-day fund/portfolio level decisions
Qualifications
· 1-3 years of total work experience within an investment bank or investment firm with strong credit knowledge (2022-2024 grads only)
· Experience using Bloomberg beneficial
· Strong quantitative skills, modeling with proficiency with Excel
· Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution
· Demonstrated professional and academic achievement
· Energetic, self-motivated, self-starter who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
Salary : $150,000 - $175,000
