Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is currently looking for (2) Production Leads to monitor the production of bakery products.
Hourly rate will depend upon experience in food manufacturing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Consistently inspects line to ensure employee and food safety.
- Performs daily inspections of machines and equipment.
- Ensures that ingredients, packaging, and materials are correctly issued to production floor.
- Monitors product quality to ensure that it meets/exceeds Company requirements.
- Maintains, monitors, and reports daily attendance activity to leadership.
- Reports any employee-related concerns to leadership.
- Inspects packaging materials and ensures that proper containers, wraps, boxes, and codes are used at all times.
- Ensures that employees are properly rotated for lunch and breaks.
- Performs supervisor duties when supervisor is not present.
- Trains employees, demonstrates best practices, and helps develop employees.
- Provides regular feedback to team members.
Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English, bilingual helpful
- Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required
