How You Show Up for Our Residents
Responsible for providing requested annual cleaning services to residents in the Independent Living (IL) Community. Also responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Londonderry Village. Ensures that all assigned areas are kept orderly and free of safety hazards.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Obtain necessary equipment and supplies before proceeding to assigned work area.
• Provides the annual cleaning services requested by residents within the appointment timeframe.
• Thoroughly wash inside and outside of windows, including screens.
• Sweep under and around stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer.
• Clean outdoor and indoor ceiling light fixtures.
• Assist with moving furniture for cleaning if needed.
• Follows and completes assigned annual cleanings per work order submission.
• Use housekeeping equipment appropriate for the task and notify supervisor of equipment needing repair.
• Practice standard infection control procedures and wear personal protective equipment when needed.
• Follow all established safety rules and procedures and report any safety concern/hazard to supervisor.
• Returns unused supplies to appropriate storage area at the end of each shift.
• Keep carts, closets, and equipment clean, neat, and orderly at all times. Ensure housekeeping cart is
locked when unattended.
• Follow established procedures and use correct chemicals and equipment for each task.
• Maintain equipment in proper working order and perform basic preventive care as necessary.
• Cross-functional training in other areas for increased flexibility.
• Use Worx Hub software for quality reporting.
• Use Paycom software to clock in/out, time off requests and manage payroll.
• Use OnShift software to monitor work schedule.
• Drive fleet vehicles on campus to complete assigned cleanings.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must follow all universal precautions procedures, including use of personal protective equipment, due to potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens.
