This role is essential in maintaining our five‑star standards across cabins, common areas, and public spaces. As a Housekeeper, you’ll support the property with routine cleaning tasks, guest turnover, and light operational support.
Your Job Will Include
Housekeeping & Cleaning Duties
- Clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guest arrivals.
- Clean the resort office, clubhouse, bathhouses, and public access areas including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas to meet resort standards.
- Assist with cleaning following resort events, activities, or guest functions.
- Track and restock cleaning supplies; notify the Lead or Manager when inventory is low.
- Report maintenance issues or repair needs in cabins, bathhouses, or public areas.
- Provide support to maintenance staff or other team members when needed.
- Drive a motorized vehicle or golf cart to run errands or pick up supplies (if applicable).
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and positive environment for guests and residents.
- Interact with guests politely and professionally.
- Assist the Resort Manager in responding to guest needs with patience and care.
- Address guest concerns with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of housekeeping experience is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and proper sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and carrying items.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule (32 hrs/wk), including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable, positive, and hardworking.
- Takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces.
- Friendly and respectful when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Able to follow routines, meet quality standards, and manage time effectively.
