A leading consumer products organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Corporate Finance team at headquarters. This is a highly visible role supporting executive leadership and partnering directly with business leaders across functions including HR, IT, Legal, Finance, Safety, Public Affairs, and Operations.
This position is ideal for someone with a blend of accounting and FP&A experience who enjoys partnering with leadership, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, and influencing business decisions through financial analysis.
What You'll Do:
- Lead annual budgeting processes and collaborate with department leaders to develop financial plans
- Manage monthly forecasting and rolling estimates, identifying business trends and providing actionable recommendations
- Analyze financial performance against budget, prior periods, and key performance indicators
- Develop executive-level presentations and financial reporting packages
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Lead capital forecasting and depreciation planning across the organization
- Partner with Treasury, Procurement, and Shared Services teams on financial processes and reporting
- Coordinate corporate purchasing card and travel expense programs
- Develop and maintain financial models related to risk management and reserve planning
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Public accounting background
- 4 years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close
- Experience supporting corporate overhead functions such as HR, IT, Legal, Finance, or G&A
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or another large ERP system
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large or mid-sized organizations
- Consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
