Sushi Chef – LoLa 41
Location: White Elephant Hotel, Aspen, Colorado
LoLa 41 is a vibrant and globally inspired restaurant brand celebrating the diverse cuisines of the 41st parallel. With acclaimed locations in Nantucket and Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach and Naples, Florida; and upcoming openings in Aspen, Colorado; Newport; Charleston; Winter Park; Miami; and Dallas, LoLa 41 continues its rapid expansion.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and execute high-quality sushi and global-influenced dishes with precision
Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu creation and development
Lead a team of sushi cooks to help execute sushi menu
Ensure flawless presentation, taste, and consistency across all sushi items
Uphold all health, safety, and HACCP standards
Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH teams
Perform calmly and professionally during high-volume service
Support overall kitchen operations to ensure smooth and timely service
Requirements
Experience as a sushi chef, with strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi techniques
Understanding of global and Japanese ingredients, preparation methods, and culinary procedures
Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations
Availability for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
Must be available to work every weekend, with additional shifts during opening and peak periods
Must be able to commute or relocate to Aspen, CO (required)
