What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Packer position at Logee's Plants for Home and Garden?
We are hiring for our busy season at Logee's. If you are looking to get into gardening, this seasonal position may be an avenue to get your foot in the door and see if the horticultural industry is for you. Since this is an entry level job, the first requirement is a love for plants!
Hours are 7 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday with the opportunity for more hours depending on the week. Several of Logee's entry level positions lead to more permanent opportunities if we have open positions at the end of the season.
Responsibilities: As a plant packer, you are responsible for quality control of sold plants, as well as packing and boxing plants to be shipped across the country. This position is fast-paced and requires thoroughness.
Other requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs, be reliable, and have the ability to stand for long periods of time. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply. Please attach a resume.
