Responsibilities

• Manage and review a variety of business and individual tax returns, including partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, overseeing planning, staffing, timelines, and overall project execution.
• Research complex federal, state, and local tax matters and develop practical planning strategies for clients.
• Partner with senior leadership on larger client engagements, identifying tax issues and recommending solutions.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior associates through training, coaching, and technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory and tax services.
• Review the work of junior team members, ensure quality standards are met, and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Contribute to practice growth by supporting business development initiatives and maintaining a high level of client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 3 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Experience researching complex tax issues and communicating solutions to clients and internal teams.
• Proven leadership, project management, and staff development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
