Responsibilities
- Manage and review a variety of business and individual tax returns, including partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trusts, estates, and gift tax returns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, overseeing planning, staffing, timelines, and overall project execution.
- Research complex federal, state, and local tax matters and develop practical planning strategies for clients.
- Partner with senior leadership on larger client engagements, identifying tax issues and recommending solutions.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior associates through training, coaching, and technical guidance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory and tax services.
- Review the work of junior team members, ensure quality standards are met, and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Contribute to practice growth by supporting business development initiatives and maintaining a high level of client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Active CPA license required.
- 3 years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Experience researching complex tax issues and communicating solutions to clients and internal teams.
- Proven leadership, project management, and staff development skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
