PM Baker

Basic duties are to prepare all baked goods, breads, and pastries for the restaurant. The baker will perform all assigned tasks to the best of their ability and with the best interest of the guests and restaurant in mind.& This person is friendly and always has a smile when interacting with guests or fellow employees.

• Takes ownership and responsibility for all baked goods

• Consistently restocks and cleans the workspace

• Demonstrates safe and proper operation of knives and all kitchen equipment

• Follows standardized recipes accurately and consistently

• Troubleshoots any difficulties or challenges presented by current recipes

• Works at a rapid and efficient pace to keep up with production needs

• Maintains a clean and sanitary workspace at all times&

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the business&

Fast-paced restaurant environment.&

This may be a full-time or part-time position. Employees may be asked to work, standing and walking, in a fast paced environment for up to 9 hours in a shift.

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must be able to communicate, write, and understand English

• Must have a current Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card

• Minimum 6 months of baking experience preferred

The employee is required to stand for extended periods and may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Frequently lifts up to 40 pounds. The employee must be able to occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.&
