What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Stacking technician position at Load Trail LLC?
Stacking Technicians are responsible for the preparation of trailers and parts ready to be shipped to dealers.
Stacking Technician Responsibilities:
· Prepares parts to be added to loads
· Ensures correct trailers and/or parts are being loaded
· Prepares lumber spacers for loading
· Counts parts
· Assists crane operators with load completion
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Experience in Stacking is preferred
· Experience in the use of power tools such as hand saws and drills is preferred
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted through the shift
Work schedule general hours are 3:30pm - 10:30pm Mon - Friday. Schedule is subject to change depending on load demands.
Due to production demands, staffing shortages, or business needs, employees may be required to work overtime. Refusal to work mandatory overtime without prior approval may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
The company will strive to provide reasonable notice of required overtime.
However, in urgent or emergency situations, immediate overtime may be necessary without prior notice.
