The Opportunity
We are representing a nationally recognised law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its highly regarded transactional practice in Philadelphia.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an attorney with at least six years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience, particularly someone comfortable independently managing complex deals and coordinating transaction teams.
The successful candidate will work with sophisticated commercial clients on significant real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing and financing matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from initial negotiations through closing.
- Draft, review and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases and financing documentation.
- Advise developers, investors, borrowers and lenders on complex real estate matters.
- Manage transactional due diligence and coordinate closing processes.
- Assist with commercial real estate development and investment transactions.
- Oversee deal teams and coordinate work with other attorneys and professional advisers.
- Provide commercially focused legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
- At least six years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
- Active Pennsylvania Bar admission.
- Demonstrable experience managing sophisticated real estate transactions independently.
- Strong background in acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing and development matters.
- Experience representing borrowers or lenders in real estate financing transactions.
- Proven ability to coordinate deal teams and manage complex transactional matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials and commercial awareness.
