The Role
A leading full-service law firm is seeking a talented Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded Dallas team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized attorneys on sophisticated employment litigation, with genuine responsibility for case strategy, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
- Handle complex employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and employment class actions.
- Represent employers in disputes involving trade secrets, non-compete agreements, and restrictive covenants.
- Take an active role in depositions, hearings, witness interviews, and trial preparation.
- Draft persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive litigation documents.
- Manage written discovery, develop case strategies, and contribute to the progression of matters.
- Work directly with clients and partners, taking ownership of sophisticated and complex employment disputes.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–7 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on employment disputes.
- Strong working knowledge of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and related federal and state employment laws.
- Hands-on experience with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation, with prior trial experience particularly valued.
- Texas Bar admission, or willingness to obtain admission promptly.
