Role Overview:
Responsible for participating in the Nurse Residency Program, including attending all training, clinical competencies, and professional development activities, under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, perform treatments, and provide discharge education while adhering to organizational policies and standards. Collaborate with healthcare team members, document patient care accurately, and recognize emergency situations. Delegate tasks appropriately, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure safe working conditions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires an Associate degree in Nursing, South Carolina RN licensure, and BLS certification. Previous experience is not necessary; candidates with more than 12 months of experience are ineligible. Knowledge of patient treatment and critical thinking skills are essential.
Additional Info:
May work in a provisional capacity with a temporary license or Graduate Nurse license until NCLEX completion. This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager, with variable work shifts.
