Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, following treatment plans and policies. Ensures effective, timely treatments, and maintains accurate documentation of patient progress and care activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow ethical standards per the American Physical Therapy Association and state regulations.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and communicate effectively with therapists.
- Document patient care, progress notes, and billing accurately.
- Support clinical education of Physical Therapist Assistant students.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and paperwork management.
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the practice state.
- Excellent communication, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and less than one year of related experience.
