Role Overview:
The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They follow evidence-based practices guided by organizational models and uphold the standards set by nursing regulations and ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication methods, ensuring their goals guide care planning.
- Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and fostering a respectful environment.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality.
- Participate in professional development, mentoring, and serve as a preceptor to foster a skilled workforce.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and compliance with safety and organizational policies.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
- Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations.
