Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care by performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively, and foster relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity. Document care accurately, support performance improvement activities, and participate in research and evidence-based practice initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional growth and ensure a qualified workforce. Develop protocols, optimize resource use, and support safety and quality standards in compliance with policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience, an active RN license (single state or multi-state Compact), and BLS certification. Educational background includes an Associate's or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use technology effectively is required.
