Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Partner with patients and families, ensuring culturally sensitive care and effective communication. Coordinate interdisciplinary teamwork, promote performance improvement, and support evidence-based practice. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, participate in research and quality initiatives, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Proactively plan patient care, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, valid RN license (single or multi-state), and BLS certification. Minimum two years of direct patient care experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency in technology and a collaborative approach are essential.
