Role Overview:
Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices.
- Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and updates individualized care plans collaboratively, and sets measurable goals for discharge and ongoing care. Performs direct patient care, delegates tasks appropriately, and monitors care quality and safety. Utilizes performance data for quality improvement, documents accurately, and advocates for patients. Educates patients and families, evaluates nursing practice standards, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care and smooth transitions. Performs other assigned duties.
Requires an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), a valid RN license, and at least one year of RN experience or completion of a recognized nurse residency program.
Experience as an LPN may be accepted for internal candidates. Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory standards, and strong communication skills are essential.
