- Managing staffing, scheduling, and staff performance monitoring
- Providing staff education and implementing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities
- Participating in budget preparation and management
- Acting as a liaison among patients, staff, medical teams, and departments
- Administering complex nursing care, including medication administration during procedures
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping, patient advocacy, and staff and patient education
- Exercising supervisory skills with attention to detail and creativity
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in hospital or clinical settings
- Critical care background and supervisory experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN license or multistate license (NLC/eNLC)
- BCLS and ACLS certification upon hire
