- Managing daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and staff performance monitoring
- Providing staff education and implementing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities
- Participating in department budget management
- Serving as a liaison among patients, technical staff, medical staff, and other hospital departments
- Administering complex nursing care, including medication management during procedures
- Maintaining accurate documentation and advocating for patients
- Ensuring staff and patient education and training
- Exercising supervisory skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- At least 5 years of nursing experience in inpatient or outpatient settings
- Critical care background and supervisory experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate licensure (NLC/eNLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications upon hire
