Position Summary:
Provides leadership and professional nursing care in facility or home settings, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
Qualifications:
- Accredited RN program completion
- Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; BCLS certification
- One year of nursing experience; prior facility or home care preferred
- Optional: National certification in specialty area
Strong leadership, assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
