Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment
- Conduct routine trash removal, recycling collection, and waste disposal in compliance with safety guidelines
- Perform custodial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team
- Apply specialized floor care techniques like buffing and stripping to restore shine and prolong flooring lifespan
- Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects that require attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures
- Skilled in various cleaning methods including floor care, buffing, stripping, and general sanitation practices
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair techniques
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable
