The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager (GM) in leading daily restaurant
operations, ensuring exceptional service, financial efficiency, and team development. This role requires a
proactive leader who can balance guest experience, operational oversight, and staff management while
maintaining Lion’s Share’s high standards.
As AGM, you will oversee front-of-house (FOH) operations, ensuring seamless service and team coordination.
You will support the GM with financial management, staff training, and guest relations, acting as a key leader
in maintaining the restaurant’s performance and culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Oversee daily FOH operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
• Support the GM in maintaining guest experience standards, resolving service issues, and building
strong customer relationships.
• Lead pre-shift meetings, ensuring staff is aligned on service expectations and priorities.
• Ensure proper floor coverage and staff placement to maintain optimal service flow.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new FOH staff.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to elevate service execution and professionalism.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined workplace culture, ensuring accountability and teamwork.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with staff.
• Support the GM in managing P&L, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Monitor labor costs, scheduling efficiency, and payroll management.
• Assist with vendor relations, ordering, and inventory control for FOH supplies.
• Track sales trends, service metrics, and operational KPIs, making data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, alcohol laws, and labor policies.
• Maintain proper sanitation, cleanliness, and operational standards at all times.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and guest safety protocols.
