What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Direct Care Worker position at Linx Community Services?
Join our team to work with children in a 24-Hour residential group home setting in the north end of Parkersburg. Children may have developmental, IDD, and medical needs. This new program offered by Linx Community Services, Inc. Employee meals and travel reimbursement available. Medication Administration Certification provided. The work site is located on the north end of Parkersburg. We offer paid orientation.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs, including medication administration and therapeutic activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and specific health requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing regular cleaning duties and ensuring compliance with health standards
- Support children during recreational activities, social interactions, and educational sessions to promote development and engagement
- Follow all protocols related to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to ensure confidentiality of health information
Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
