Systems Engineer
Location: Roseville, MI
Contract: 90-day contract to hire
Pay: Based on experience
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Engineer to support manufacturing system design, integration, and optimization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize manufacturing system designs and workflows to meet production requirements

Integrate hardware and software components related to manufacturing machinery

Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes

Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance system performance and product quality

Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and improvements

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to meet production and quality standards (including AS9102, ISO9001)
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience with manufacturing system engineering or process engineering

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards such as AS9102 and ISO9001

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing control systems is a plus
