Overview (Primary Purpose) This position is responsible for legal administrative support functions in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment. Describe the essential functions of the job Ø Drafting, reviewing, and filing a variety of legal documents Ø Inputting data into a case-tracking system daily with speed and accuracy Ø Responsible for running reports and identifying workload issues weekly Ø Mailing correspondence and pleadings Ø Other duties as assigned Physical demands & work environment: Ø The position requires sitting at a computer desk and may require standing, bending, copying, and filing documents. This position may also require lifting files or boxes not to exceed 10lbs. Minimum Job Requirements: Ø Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for editing and have excellent proof-reading skills Ø Must be well-organized and detail-oriented and able to work in a high-volume, team-oriented work environment Ø Must have good communication, writing, and grammar skills Ø Must have the ability to keep pace with processing deadlines is critical to this position Ø Experience with e-filing and electronic data management of legal files is a plus Ø Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus Benefits: Our standard comprehensive benefits package includes health, life, disability, vision, and dental insurance.
