Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal operation of water supply and drainage systems.
- Maintain building interior by executing painting projects—residential painting included—and carpentry tasks to uphold property aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to complete various maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Repair or replace facilities equipment including HVAC systems, electrical fixtures, plumbing components, and other building infrastructure.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or resident concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for compliance and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field with a strong focus on electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electrical systems including schematics and the use of testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with welding, carpentry, painting (including residential), and general building interior maintenance.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures along with experience working with facilities equipment maintenance programs.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while maintaining high safety standards.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and residents.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
