Lead Components Engineer - Turbomachinery

What you will enjoy doing*
- You will be responsible for the Design and Engineering of Turbomachinery Packages made up of Piping Modules, Process Coolers, Valves, Instrumentation, Structural Frames, Seal Gas systems and Lube Oil systems
- Further, you will specify the Sizing, Design, and Applicable International Code of Pressure vessels that include Process coolers, Oil Coolers, Filter Housings, Lube Oil Tanks, and Process piping
- You also will perform or review Base Frame and Pipe Support Finite Element Analysis, Flexibility studies of Supplied Piping, and Anchor Bolt Sizing
- In this role, you will support the selection and Plan the wiring of Vibration, Speed, Pressure, Flow, and Temperature instruments supplied with Turbomachinery designs
- Additionally, you will perform the Package check-out, both in person and virtually with third party vendors, Travel up to 25% is required
- You also will support procurement activities of Turbomachinery Packages by producing requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions
- You have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering as it is required, Mechanical Engineering preferred
- You have a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a process oriented, E / C Company or in an operating company with project equipment engineering duties, Experience with Rotating Equipment is preferred
- You have effective analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
- You also have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and CAD Software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD)
- You have experience with ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC section VIII, and PED Requirements, as it is preferred
- You have a working knowledge of Cooler sizing software (HTRI) is preferred
