Design & Field Implementation Specialist

What you will enjoy doing*
- As part of the Cold Box Engineering and Field Services group you will be involved in multiple areas of design, fabrication, and field implementation at existing Air Separation Units
- In this role, you will support the Cold Box Engineering team to develop and execute strategic construction plans, offering expert input on constructability and sequencing, and implementation of engineered solutions
- This position collaborates closely with various departments to assist in commissioning, monitoring construction progress, perform quality assurance inspections, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
- You will develop 3D piping models and prepare 2D Fabrication Drawings including Shop and Field Pressure Test, Bid / Construction packages, and Bill of Materials
- You enjoy working with your hands to lead hands-on repairs, testing, and validation of piping systems in the plant
- You will have an Associate degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD) Mechanical or Process Piping
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in or any combination of piping design, construction management, commissioning, field supervision, QA/QC inspections.
- Additionally you will demonstrated experience and mechanical aptitude/skills with construction drawings, basic hand tools, working knowledge of piping systems, cold box components, and working with contractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, 3D/2D AutoCAD
- You have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Cold Box experience highly desirable
- Previous Field Construction Management experience is required in this role
- Knowledge of design Codes and Standards, including ASME, ASTM, ANSI
