Middle School Soccer Head Coach

Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to serve as the Head Coach for our Middle School Soccer program. The Head Coach will lead and inspire student-athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field, while fostering a positive team culture and promoting sportsmanship. Must be able to obtain all necessary background checks, including FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse History Clearance, and a physical examination.

Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership:

• Lead all aspects of the Middle School Soccer program, including planning, organizing, and implementing practices, games, and team events.
• Develop and communicate a clear vision and philosophy for the soccer program.
  
  

Player Development:

• Provide expert instruction and guidance to players in technical skills, tactical understanding, physical conditioning, and mental preparation.
• Foster a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement among studentathletes.
  
  

Game Strategy:

• Develop and implement effective game strategies and tactics to maximize team performance and success.
• Analyze opponents and adapt game plans accordingly.
  
  

Team Culture and Sportsmanship:

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
• Serve as a role model for studentathletes, demonstrating integrity, character, and leadership both on and off the field.
  
  

Player Recruitment and Development:

• Recruit and retain talented studentathletes to the soccer program.
• Provide mentorship and support to help players achieve their academic and athletic goals.
  
  

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with players, parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the athletics department and school leadership to ensure alignment with school values and goals.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience at the high school level or above.
• Strong knowledge of soccer rules, strategies, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering the holistic development of studentathletes.
