Under the supervision of the Director of Quality Management, the Quality Improvement Specialist II supports agency-wide quality initiatives by analyzing performance data, improving processes, coordinating audits, and helping teams achieve compliance and organizational goals.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze data, trends, and performance measures to support quality improvement efforts
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, accreditation, and compliance activities
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI and other tools
- Lead or support process improvement projects and corrective action plans
- Assist teams in developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcome measures
- Facilitate trainings, quality improvement initiatives, and cross-functional workgroups
- Support strategic planning and continuous quality improvement efforts across the agency
- Monitor program effectiveness and help departments make data-driven decisions
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quality improvement, auditing, compliance, or healthcare data preferred
- Knowledge of accreditation standards such as CARF and MDHHS preferred
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate findings effectively
- Passion for improving systems, outcomes, and organizational performance
