Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)

  • Provide diagnostic assessments/evaluations with DSM V diagnoses, develop treatment plans, provide individualized case management and counseling to individuals, couples, family, and groups.
  • Make appropriate referrals.
  • May provide education and support to clients and families, skills training, and outreach to client homes.
  • Develop and review treatment plans to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, evaluations, and related services.
  • Provide clinical oversight. Difficult cases and crisis management are emphasized with treatment plan.
  • Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff and community agencies and groups.
  • Provide supervision for licensure for program staff as well as for graduate level interns.
  • May provide clinical review and/or supervision of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
  • Complete paperwork within agency expected timelines.
  • Document into agency’s electronic medical record.
  • May act as liaison and provide consultation, education and information to community agencies that routinely encounter individuals with mental or emotional disturbances.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team structure to expand clinical competency, staff cases, and ensure thorough client care.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, meet deadlines, and remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Maintain standards of confidentiality of Lifeways’ clients and records.
  • Perform all work duties and activities in compliance with Lifeway’s policies/procedures, Oregon Administrative Rules, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Required:
  • Master’s degree in social work, behavioral health, or closely related field
  • Be registered with MHACBO or other appropriate licensing board for a QMHP within 30 days of hire
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms 
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Successful Tuberculosis Screening
  • Current driver's license
  • Bilingual/multilingual in Spanish
