New Directions Northwest is seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient Youth Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Youth & Family Services team. This position provides clinical behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families through individual, family, and group therapy, while supporting innovative youth programs that create lasting positive change.

About the Role

As an Outpatient Youth QMHP, you will:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for youth and families
  • Deliver individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, and family systems therapy
  • Collaborate with schools, DHS, juvenile probation, healthcare providers, and community partners
  • Support youth-focused programs including:
    • Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT)
    • Wraparound (WRAP)
    • Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA)
    • Juvenile Behavioral Health Court (JBHC)
    • Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (MCIS)
    • Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and cross-system care coordination
  • Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and community-based support when assigned

Qualifications

We're looking for professionals who:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Meet Oregon QMHP requirements
  • Are licensed or license-eligible as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist
  • Have experience working with youth and families in behavioral health settings
  • Value collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and family-driven care
  • Possess strong clinical assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills
