Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Counselor role based in Green Bay, WI. The Admissions Counselor will guide prospective participants through the admissions process for Job Corps and related programs, including conducting outreach, interviews, and eligibility screenings. The role involves presenting program information to individuals, families, schools, and community partners, and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources. The Admissions Counselor will manage applicant files, ensure accurate and timely documentation, and track candidates from initial contact through enrollment. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, providing excellent customer service, meeting recruitment and enrollment goals, and collaborating with internal teams to support successful student placement and retention.

Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage diverse individuals, build trust, and present program information clearly.
- Proven Customer Service experience, including responsiveness, follow-through, and a client-centered approach.
- Sales or outreach background, with the ability to meet recruitment goals, conduct persuasive presentations, and manage a pipeline of prospective applicants.
- Experience or training in Education, counseling, workforce development, or related human services fields.
- Ability to manage multiple applicants and deadlines, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Comfort working with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds, including those facing barriers to education or employment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., email, databases, spreadsheets) and willingness to learn program-specific systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in a related field preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Green Bay, WI, and participate in occasional local travel for outreach and recruitment events.
