This role will oversee core HR functions and initially support payroll administration for approximately 25–50 employees. Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain personnel records and ensure HR compliance
- Administer policies, employee documentation, and HR best practices
- Assist with recruiting coordination including job postings and interview scheduling
- Support employee relations and maintain professional documentation
- Coordinate benefits administration and employee communications
- Ensure consistent HR processes across multiple locations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information
- Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP
- Review payroll for hourly, commissioned, and bonus-based employees
- Coordinate with ADP regarding payroll taxes, W-2s, garnishments, and PTO tracking
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing
Required
- 5 years of HR experience
- Experience processing payroll (ADP preferred)
- Strong understanding of HR compliance fundamentals
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently
- Experience building HR processes or policies
- Experience working in a startup or growing company
- Experience supporting multi-location teams
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience We are open to discussing compensation for candidates who bring significant experience in HR leadership, payroll administration, or building HR infrastructure in a growing company.
