Construction Surveyor / Party Chief

My client is seeking a full time Construction Layout Surveyor to complete construction layout in MD and Northern VA and surrounding areas. Most of this work is stakeout for large data center projects.

The ideal candidate is an experienced land surveyor with extensive construction layout experience. Must be self-motivated, organized, and technology-oriented. The candidate must be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate calculations, and work in a team environment.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of extensive experience as a construction layout surveyor with a strong focus on quality.
• Proficient with both GPS and Robotic Systems.
• Able to work as a 1-person crew.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations
• Must be willing/able to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50-lbs.
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard
  
  

hat, safety glasses, safety vests, gloves, steel-toed work boots.

You will be given a company van and work out of your house.
