Architectural Designer – Retail & Commercial Projects

Long Island, NY

A well-established architectural firm on Long Island is seeking an Architectural Designer with 2-7 years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide variety of retail, commercial, mixed-use, and tenant fit-out projects from concept through construction documents in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Retail and commercial architecture experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

• 2-7 years of architectural design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Proficiency with Revit (AutoCAD experience also preferred)
• Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating with consultants
• Knowledge of NY building codes and permitting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Retail, restaurant, shopping center, or commercial project experience is a plus
  
  

What You'll Do:

• Prepare design and construction documents
• Assist with project coordination from design through construction
• Work closely with project managers, consultants, and clients
• Conduct field surveys and site visits as needed
• Contribute to a variety of exciting commercial and retail developments
