Architectural Millwork Drafter – Beginner to Moderate

Cousins Furniture is a custom architectural millwork manufacturing company. We participate in every aspect of building from detailed shop drawings, manufacturing, finishing and installations. We also have various types of computer-based machines such as two CNC machines (3 Axis & 5 Axis), drill & dowel machine and an optimized cross cutting saw. We are willing to train someone who is willing to help us keep our craftsmanship at a very high level.
Cousins Furniture is seeking a millwork drafter. This position includes producing shop drawings based on designs obtained from Architects/Designers as well as revising previously drawn shop drawings and making corrections based on red lined drawings. We are willing to train someone who we see fit to handle the size and highly detailed work we produce. We are willing to train a candidate who is dedicated and detail oriented and focused on precision and craftsmanship.
Requirements:
-Experience in AutoCAD
-Average experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Etc.)
-Desire and willingness to learn the industry and additional software
Responsibilities:
-Produce millwork shop drawings
-Revise drawings previously done by someone
-Design methods of construction
Skills: (Beginners to Moderate)
-AutoCAD
-Read and understand drawings
Advantage:
-Cabinet Vision familiarity
-AlphaCAM familiarity
-Experience in millwork/carpentry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
